Setting up your "Reward Distributor" 🏦
Before your app can start giving away B3TR, it needs permission! 👮♂️
You must authorize your smart contract or backend as a Reward Distributor in your app settings. Without this, the protocol won't let your contract trigger payouts.
"On-chain vs off-chain works like..." a secure bank vault. Your app holds a balance, and only authorized "distributors" can sign the check to the user.
To test this safely, head to the VeBetterDAO Testnet Dashboard.
You'll need three things:
Add your app to the dashboard.
Claim testnet B3TR from the Faucet.
Deposit those tokens into your app balance to fund rewards.
Almost there! Once your contract address is marked as a "Reward Distributor," you are ready for liftoff.
