Internship overview

We are looking for a driven final year bachelor’s or master’s student to join B3TR Transit for a 3 to 6-month internship. You will support the Project Lead to build a mobile native app and help deliver a user-friendly UI design. The scope is flexible and hands-on, with real ownership across product build and iteration.

Who we are looking for

Final year bachelor’s or master’s student in one of the following areas:

  • Computer Science

  • Data Science

  • Software Development

  • Product Development

You might be a fit if you have

  • Experience building software projects, coursework or personal projects both count

  • Interest in mobile native development and building polished user experiences

  • JavaScript and React experience is preferred

  • Applicants with other languages and frameworks are welcome if you can demonstrate strong fundamentals

What you will do

  • Support the Project Lead with mobile app development and feature delivery

  • Build and iterate mobile native UI components with a strong focus on usability

  • Contribute to UI design tasks, flows, and lightweight prototyping

  • Support backend development and API work where needed

  • Help test, debug, and improve performance and reliability

  • Work with the team to prioritize tasks and ship updates on a regular cadence

Nice to have

  • Experience with React Native or other mobile native frameworks

  • Comfort with basic UI design tools or prototyping workflows

  • Familiarity with APIs, authentication, and common mobile app patterns

  • Interest in sustainability-focused products and real-world impact tracking

  • Comfort working in a remote, async environment
